MonLife offer a wide variety of classes for all abilities across our four leisure centre’s. If your a seasoned exerciser looking for new challenges, or even brand new to everything, we can ensure there is a class for you. Whether you are looking to develop cardiovascular fitness, strength, lose weight, build muscle or improve your mobility, our experienced and highly trained fitness instructors and classes are here to support you.

MonLife are proud to partner with Les Mills in order to deliver world-leading group exercises and help members fall in love with fitness. We offer a wide variety of classes across our leisure centre’s, so there’s a class for everyone.

LES MILLS BODYCOMBAT™
BODYCOMBAT™ is a high-energy martial arts-inspired workout that is totally non-contact. Punch and kick your way to fitness and burn up to 570 calories** in a class. No experience needed. Learn moves from Karate, Taekwondo, Boxing, Muay Thai, Capoeira and Kung Fu.
LES MILLS RPM™
RPM ™ is an at home cycling workout where you control the intensity. In an RPM on demand workout you repeatedly rotate the pedals to reach your cardio peak then ease back down, keeping pace with the pack to lift your personal performance and boost your cardio fitness.
LES MILLS BODYPUMP™
Les Mills BODYPUMP™ is a barbell workout for anyone looking to get lean, toned and fit – fast. Using light to moderate free weights and a barbell with lots of repetition, BODYPUMP gives you a total body workout. Feel the burn with scientifically proven moves and techniques, highly trained instructors and great music – helping you achieve much more than on your own!
LES MILLS SPRINT™
SPRINT™ classes are a 30-minute High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) workout, using an indoor bike to achieve fast results. It's a short, intense style of training where the thrill and motivation comes from pushing your physical and mental limits.
LES MILLS GRIT™
LES MILLS GRIT™ is a 30-minute high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workout, designed to improve strength, cardiovascular fitness and build lean muscle. This workout uses barbell, weight plate and bodyweight exercises to blast all major muscle groups. These classes are a 30-minute High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) workout, using an indoor bike to achieve fast results.
LES MILLS BARRE™
LES MILLS BARRE™ is a modern version of classic balletic training; a 30-minute workout designed to shape and tone postural muscles, build core strength, and allow you to escape the everyday. ... Without the traditional barre to support you, the muscles supporting your body's stability and strength becomes the focus.
LES MILLS BORN TO MOVE™
BORN TO MOVE™ is about inspiring young people to fall in love with physical activity. Designed to nurture a life-long love of physical activity, BORN TO MOVE ™ helps children experience the joy and vitality of moving to music.
LES MILLS VIRTUAL™
Les Mills Virtual classes bring in world leading fitness programs and instructors to our centres via our big screens. Virtual classes taking place as MonLife Active include: BODYPUMP, SPRINT, THE TRIP, RPM, SH’BAM, BODY ATTACK, CORE, BARRE, BODY BALANCE and GRIT.

BOOK NOW

Aqua Aerobics
A water based workout to music that offers both cardiovascular and muscle conditioning using the water to support the body, putting less stress on your joints and muscles. Equipment is used to intensify resistance. This class is suitable for all abilities. Minimum age: 16 years.
Aqua Running
A non–weight bearing activity where you perform a running motion in the water, optimising cardiovascular and muscular conditioning, while minimising joint, bone, muscular, tendon and ligament stress. This class is suitable for all abilities.
Body Conditioning
This class is for those looking to gain strength and body toning. It includes core, circuit and interval training and is suitable for those looking for an intermediate level class.
Bootcamp
Boot camp is a group fitness class that promotes fat loss, muscle strengthening and overall fitness. It’s beneficial for everyone no matter what your age, ability or experience. Using burpess, press-ups and squats interspersed with running and competitive games, boot camp is an excellent activity to maintain a healthy body and mind.
Boxercise
This is a high energy, fat shredding, non-contact training program using a combination of boxing movements and aerobics. It’s fun, stimulating and a safe way to exercise for men and women of all ages and abilities.
Cardio Combat
This is a high-energy cardio workout to music that mixes punching and kicking with some intervals of conditioning. This is an ideal class for increasing cardio ability and stamina, as well as improving balance, posture and agility.
Circuits
If you like the idea of adding variety into your workout, circuit classes are the perfect solution. Working at your own ability, circuits is a station based class where you move from exercise to exercise building up your strength and endurance. Our classes vary in ability levels so please find the class that best suits your situation by calling your local centre.
FIT 4 Life
This is a low impact gentle exercise class ideal for those new to classes or getting back into exercise. A sociable way to exercise and is suitable for total beginners.
FIT Easyline
Nine hydraulic exercise machines in a circuit offering a combination of both cardio and strength training with a high rate of calorie expenditure.
FIT Kettlebells
Nine hydraulic exercise machines combined with kettlebells in a circuit offering you a combination of both cardio and strength training with a high rate of calorie expenditure.
FIT Mix
This is the class for those of you that are after a little variety from your workouts. This class switches between aerobic and step routines, combined with a mixture of toning exercises. It’s suitable for all ages and ability levels.
Kettlebells
The kettlebell is a cast-iron or steel weight (resembling a cannonball with a handle) used to perform a workout that combines power and strength to build stamina and total body strength.
Legs, Bums and Tums
The class consists of a range of exercises that will focus on these three areas. It is suitable for all fitness levels and will help those of all abilities to tone up and build strength.
Pilates
Pilates improves flexibility, builds strength, develops control and endurance. This class puts emphasis on alignment, breathing and improving coordination and balance. It is suitable for all abilities.
Pump
This is a static toning class using a bar and free weights. It’s excellent for body conditioning and is suitable for all abilities. If you are new to FIT Pump please book on to the beginner classes.
Spin
Spinning takes a normal bike and allows you to train indoors in a group setting to a great soundtrack. Beginners can workout alongside more advanced riders as varying the intensity of the workout can be achieved through easy adjustments on the bike.
Step
This is a high energy, total body fitness class where you perform a range of aerobic moves using step platforms to enhance your workout. The class suitable for all ages and fitness abilities.
Tai Chi
Thai Chi is a holistic approach to exercise focusing on posture, breathing and balance. This class is suitable for all ages and abilities.
Virtual Sprint
Follow the DVD whilst on the bike for a fun alternative to the traditional indoor environment. Participants can work to their own ability varying the intensity of the workout through easy adjustments on the bike.
Yoga
Mind and body class designed to improve your strength and flexibility. This is an intermediate level class.
Zumba
This is a choreographed class incorporating hip-hop, samba, salsa, merengue, mambo, squats and lunges. There is no wrong move in Zumba, just keep moving your body and have fun! This class is suitable for all abilities.
