MonLife offer a wide variety of classes for all abilities across our four leisure centre’s. If your a seasoned exerciser looking for new challenges, or even brand new to everything, we can ensure there is a class for you. Whether you are looking to develop cardiovascular fitness, strength, lose weight, build muscle or improve your mobility our experienced and highly trained Fitness Instructors and classes are here to support you.

Les Mills BODYPUMP™ is a barbell workout for anyone looking to get lean, toned and fit – fast. Using light to moderate free weights and a barbell with lots of repetition, BODYPUMP gives you a total body workout. Feel the burn with scientifically proven moves and techniques, highly trained instructors and great music – helping you achieve much more than on your own! You’ll leave the workout feeling challenged and motivated, ready to come back for more!


These classes are a 30-minute High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) workout, using an indoor bike to achieve fast results. It’s a short, intense style of training where the thrill and motivation comes from pushing your physical and mental limits.


BODYCOMBAT™ is a high-energy martial arts-inspired workout that is totally non-contact. Punch and kick your way to fitness and burn up to 570 calories** in a class. No experience needed. Learn moves from Karate, Taekwondo, Boxing, Muay Thai, Capoeira and Kung Fu.


LES MILLS GRIT ™ is a 30-minute high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workout, designed to improve strength, cardiovascular fitness and build lean muscle. This workout uses barbell, weight plate and bodyweight exercises to blast all major muscle groups.These classes are a 30-minute High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) workout, using an indoor bike to achieve fast results. It’s a short, intense style of training where the thrill and motivation comes from pushing your physical and mental limits.


RPM ™ is an at home cycling workout where you control the intensity.  In an RPM on demand workout you repeatedly rotate the pedals to reach your cardio peak then ease back down, keeping pace with the pack to lift your personal performance and boost your cardio fitness.

Yoga

Yoga is an old discipline from India. It is both spiritual and physical. Yoga uses breathing techniques, exercise and meditation. It helps to improve health and happiness. Yoga is the Sanskrit word for union.  More recently Yoga has been used more and more for the purpose of supporting the conditioning of athletes from various sports such as Football and Rugby to Weightlifting and Running.

Pilates

Pilates improves flexibility, builds strength, develops control and endurance. This class puts emphasis on alignment, breathing and improving coordination and balance. It is suitable for all abilities.   

Aqua Swim

A water based workout to music that offers both cardiovascular and muscle conditioning using the water to support the body, putting less stress on your joints and muscles. Equipment is used to intensify resistance. This class is suitable for all abilities. Minimum age: 16 years.

Aqua Running

A non–weight bearing activity where you perform a running motion in the water, optimising cardiovascular and muscular conditioning, while minimising joint, bone, muscular, tendon and ligament stress. This class is suitable for all abilities. 

Boot Camp

Boot camp is a group fitness class that promotes fat loss, muscle strengthening and overall fitness. It’s beneficial for everyone no matter what your age, ability or experience. Using burpees, press-ups and squats interspersed with running and competitive games, boot camp is an excellent activity to maintain a healthy body and mind.

Circuits

Meta-Conditioning/Circuits combines the latest HIIT training techniques with traditional ‘Old School’ bodyweight exercises to set the metabolism on fire. Challenge yourself with this short and intense 30-minute workout.
