A 3G pitch is a high-quality synthetic playing surface designed to replicate natural grass while offering all-weather performance. It combines artificial turf, sand, and performance infill for a safe and reliable playing experience year-round.

When does the new 3G facility open?

What type of pitch is it?
It’s a third-generation (3G) artificial turf suitable for football and rugby and community use.
How do I book the pitch?

Monday–Friday: 5pm – 9pm
Weekends: 9am – 4pm

What does it cost to hire the pitch?
Pricing depends on pitch size (full/half) and peak/off‑peak times.

What footwear is allowed?
Allowed: Moulded studs, AG boots
Not allowed: Metal studs, flat trainers, and (depending on policy) blades.

Can matches be played on the 3G pitch?
Yes—league fixtures, training sessions and friendly matches are welcome (subject to governing‑body rules). With the exception of Rugby.
