Attack and Defend

Put your problem-solving skills to the test in our Attack and Defend workshop as your class explores the tools and techniques of medieval warfare.

Fabulous Feasting

Discover the rules of medieval dining and make food fit for a Lord in our Fabulous Feasting workshop as your pupils help the castle servants prepare a wedding feast and entertainment for the marriage of Lady Alianore de Bohun to Thomas of Woodstock.

Character Workshops

Would your class like to meet Lady Alianore or Sir Thomas de Harcourt? Perhaps you’d like to make a date with the castle cook or our Barber Surgeon?

Our re-enactors provide Character Workshops which enable your pupils to discover more about the lives of those who lived, worked and visited Caldicot Castle in the Middle Ages.
