Our new Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA) at Abergavenny Leisure Centre provides a versatile, high-quality space designed for a wide range of sports and activities. Featuring all weather macadam surface, it is ideal for basketball as well as multi-sport community use, offering a safe, durable and accessible facility for clubs, schools and casual users alike.

What type of pitch is it?
It’s a macadam surface suitable for netball, basketball, tennis and multi-sport community use.
How do I book the pitch?

What does it cost to hire the pitch?
Pricing depends on pitch size (full/half) and peak/off‑peak times.

What footwear is allowed?
Allowed: Trainers
Not allowed: Moulded studs, AG boots Metal studs, flat trainers, and (depending on policy) blades.

Can matches be played on the MUGA?
Yes – tennis, basketball, netball and training sessions and friendly matches are welcome (subject to governing‑body rules).
