Water Safety Session – Caldicot Leisure Centre

Powered by Swim Wales, our water safety classes equip children with essential self-rescue skills and vital water safety knowledge in a controlled swimming pool environment. Designed for ages 7-11, these sessions focus on practical learning while building confidence in and around water. Participants will explore the causes and risks of drowning in the UK, practice fundamental self-rescue techniques, and learn key water safety principles. The program also introduces the concept of transitioning from indoor to outdoor swimming environments, ensuring children are better prepared for real-world water situations.
