Caldicot Castle & Country Park

Caldicot Castle & Country Park is the ideal place for families to switch off screens and jump into real‑world adventure. With 55 acres of open parkland, woodland trails, and plenty of space to explore, kids can run free while adults enjoy the fresh air and scenery.

Step inside the castle and wander through its medieval towers, mysterious rooms, and atmospheric dungeon, sparking imaginations of knights, queens, and secret passages. If you’re drawn to stories carved in stone, Caldicot Castle delivers in every direction. Whether you’re looking for hands‑on fun, gentle adventures, or simply a great day out together, the park offers something for everyone.

Between the end of October and April vehicular access and the main car park is closed between 5.30pm and 8.00am (although the Church Road car park remains open). The Country Park remains open in this time. Further disruptions to opening times can be seen below.
