Caldicot Arts Festival

Caldicot Castle will be hosting a free-to-attend arts festival next month. It will see some of Monmouthshire’s most talented artists joining forces to celebrate creativity with festival-goers on Saturday 4 October 2025.

The family event, running from 11am to 4pm, will include a whole host of activities for people to enjoy, encouraging them to get creative and have fun.

For those who want to have a go, there will be a plein-air (outdoor) drawing and painting session, a live community mural to contribute to, as well as artist demonstrations and plenty of other chances to try new arts and creative activities.

Those who wish to take part in the plein air session will need to bring: paper, a board to fix the paper to, pencils, watercolour paints, brushes, water in a jar, a stool to sit
